Emily Pope
Director
Emily Pope has been with Sycamore Aves Youth Cheer for 3 years and this is her second year as Director. She has coached various age levels: K/1, 2nd and 6th grade. This year she will be coaching our 3rd grade squad. Emily has two daughters who attend Symmes Elementary who also cheer in our organization. Outside of SAYC, she coaches 8th Grade Winter Cheerleading at Sycamore Junior High.
Erin Metz
Treasurer
Erin's daughter, Madalyn, attends Symmes Elementary and has cheered with SAYC for two years now. Erin joined the SAYC board in the Spring of 2022, and also serves on the Symmes Elementary PTO board as VP of Family Involvement.
Alison
Secretary
Alison is the Secretary of the SAYC Board. Alison has two daughters who cheer, one attends E.H. Greene, and has been cheering for 6 years and one is a student at Montgomery Elementary and has been cheering for 1 year. Alison joined the SAYC Board in 2017 and has served on the board for the last 6 years. Her community involvement also includes the Board of the Sycamore Athletic Boosters, the Social Director of the Steeplechase HOA, coaches indoor soccer, and works full-time running her real estate team The Alison Moss Group at Keller Williams Seven Hills.
